CNN Star Gave Birth In The Bathroom

(NewsHill.org)- According to reports, Kasie Hunt, a CNN journalist, and top national affairs commentator, gave birth to her second baby after what she described as a sudden labor in the restroom.

People Magazine revealed that the 37-year-old Hunt and her husband, Matthew Mario Rivera, embraced their baby girl Grey Hunt Rivera. Their daughter was delivered at home after just minutes of labor.

According to the parents, Grey has already shown her independence.

A C-section was due to bring her into the world the next day, but plans changed.

That morning, before anybody could contact the paramedics, Grey was delivered at home after just 13 minutes of labor. Baby Grey was born on the bathroom floor, and her father leapt into action.

The report reveals the couple gave their thanks to the 911 dispatcher and the Fire & EMS crew. Step by step, they walked through the emotional moments just after Grey was delivered and as she drew her first breaths. They thanked the Washington firefighters and paramedics who came to our house, helped us, and drove them to Sibley Hospital.

According to an online magazine, Kasie Hunt had a small brain tumor removed during a four-hour procedure last October.  Hunt learned of her illness in August of 2021 when she started working for CNN.

Hunt told an entertainment magazine that no one should go through what she did. She dreaded having to deal with the issues raised by the tumor in her brain, but looking back, she considers it now to be a learning experience.

The CNN journalist believes she owes an enormous debt of gratitude to God and to all the people in her life who helped her go through the ordeal and transform as a result.

Matthew Mario Rivera and Kasie Hunt also have a 3-and-a-half-year-old son named Mars.

After meeting at NBC News, Hunt and Rivera tied the knot in 2017.
