Wave of Attacks Targeting Tesla Properties
A disturbing pattern of violence has emerged against Tesla facilities across the country as Elon Musk works alongside President Trump to slash government spending. One of the most serious incidents occurred in Las Vegas, where a suspect clad in black hurled Molotov cocktails at a Tesla Collision Center and fired shots at the facility.
And now, Elon Musk has reportedly been left fearing for his life.
The FBI has confirmed they are investigating the Las Vegas attack as potential terrorism, with five vehicles damaged including two set ablaze. FBI Las Vegas Special Agent in Charge Spencer Evans addressed the severity of the situation during a press conference following the attack.
“Violent acts like this are unacceptable regardless of where they occur. And specifically, to those who might think that something like this is justifiable or potentially even admirable, we want to let you know that it’s a federal crime. We will come after you, we will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law,” Evans warned.
The violence hasn’t been limited to Nevada, with federal authorities also investigating attacks in Kansas City and San Diego. In the Kansas City incident, two Tesla Cybertrucks were damaged by fire, while the San Diego dealership was defaced with anti-Semitic symbols and profanity spray-painted on both the building and vehicles.
Musk Claims Attacks Linked to Government Efficiency Efforts
Elon Musk has expressed shock at what he describes as coordinated attacks against his company. The billionaire entrepreneur directly tied the violence to his work with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which he claims has already identified $2 trillion in potential spending cuts.
“It’s really comes as quite a shock to me that there was this level of, really, hatred and violence from the left. I always thought the left, the Democrats, were supposed to be the party of empathy, the party of caring and yet they’re burning down cars, they’re firebombing dealerships, they’re firing bullets into dealerships, they’re just, you know, smashing up Teslas,” Musk said.
The Tesla CEO believes the attacks are financed and coordinated by powerful interests threatened by his government waste-cutting initiatives. He questioned who might be behind the violence, suggesting organized opposition to his efforts to reform government spending.
“I think there are larger forces at work here as well. I mean, I don’t know, who’s funding this and who’s coordinating this?” Musk pondered publicly, adding “This is crazy. I’ve never seen anything like this.
Death Threats and Presidential Support
The situation has become so severe that Musk now claims he faces personal danger including assassination threats. The Tesla CEO directly attributed these threats to his success in uncovering government fraud and waste through his role heading DOGE under President Trump’s administration.
“It turns out when you take away people’s, you know, the money that they’re receiving fraudulently, they get very upset. And they basically want to kill me because I’m stopping their fraud and they want to hurt Tesla because we’re stopping the terrible waste and corruption in the government. And, well, I guess they’re bad people. Bad people do bad things,” Musk explained.
This isn’t terrorism, but some people walking into the Capitol building is?
