Conservative Media Figures Share Terrifying Experiences
Radio host Joe Pagliarulo, known as Joe Pags, captured a frightening scene on camera when police with rifles arrived at his home responding to a false report. The conservative commentator later described the potentially deadly situation that could have unfolded had he reacted differently.
“If I would have grabbed my AR-15 and walked out the front door, or my pistol and walked out the front door, I would have been dead in my doorway. Had I taken any other action, I might have been killed in my house that night. And you start to think maybe that’s the tactic,” Pagliarulo said.
InfoWars host Chase Geiser experienced an even more aggressive police response when he was swatted twice within just 12 hours. The conservative personality described being handcuffed in the street while officers pointed lights in his face, creating a dangerous and humiliating situation.
“I was handcuffed in the middle of the street, presumably at gunpoint though I couldn’t tell because of the light being shined on my face. I was then led into the house where my wife was woken up and we were informed that they received a call from someone pretending to be me and threatening to kill my family,” Geiser recounted.

Pro-Trump social media personality “Catturd” reported being swatted for the fourth time, showing a pattern of ongoing harassment against those with conservative viewpoints.
Republican officials have also been victims, with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene reporting a swatting incident in late 2023. Senator Mike Lee has taken a strong stance on the issue, suggesting these dangerous hoaxes should be prosecuted as attempted murder due to the potentially deadly outcomes they could cause.
