Gisele Bündchen is contemplating the effects of her split from Tom Brady on their children.
Nearly a year after their breakup, the Brazilian supermodel confessed to her enormous pain, revealing the impact on her family.
Despite life’s unexpected turns, she said that all anyone can do is their best no matter the circumstances.
To protect her children from the coronavirus, 43-year-old Bündchen decided to homeschool them and move the family to Florida, where she also finalized her divorce.
She revealed that her parents were quite unwell and received private care from Bündchen throughout that time.
It was recently revealed that the former Victoria’s Secret model turned to alcohol as a means of coping with the stress of her personal life, but to be there for her loved ones, she ultimately decided to get sober.
Especially after turning 40, she saw a marked difference in her experiences with and without alcohol.
Bündchen claimed that she became much clearer, very smart, and slept much better when she made significant lifestyle adjustments and became sober for over two years.
Despite going through a rough patch, Bündchen had a good outlook and made taking care of herself a top priority so she could be there for her loved ones.
Brady and Bündchen broke the news of their separation on Instagram in October.
They’ve been married for 13 years and have a daughter, Vivian Lake (10), and a son, Benjamin Rein (13). Brady also shares parental responsibility for his 16-year-old son Jack with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan (52).
The couple’s two children have been spending time with both parents as they settle into life in Florida, as reported by Bündchen. At school, they are meeting new people.
Bündchen expressed her satisfaction seeing her children share their parents’ music and horseback riding interests. To put it simply, Bündchen said, “They are maturing into caring, compassionate young adults.”
