Anti-Trump Vandal Catches Fire During Tesla Attack

A masked man’s attempt to torch Tesla charging stations in North Charleston, South Carolina backfired dramatically when he caught himself on fire during the act. The incident, which occurred near a Mellow Mushroom pizzeria at the Tanger Outlets, caused approximately $60,000 in damages to the charging infrastructure.

The vandal spray-painted anti-Trump messages on the pavement before using beer bottles filled with an accelerant to ignite three Tesla charging stations. According to witnesses, the messages included “(expletive) TRUMP LONG LIVE UKRAINE,” making his political motivations clear.

As the man attempted to set the Tesla chargers ablaze, the attack took an unexpected turn when the accelerant ignited his own clothing. Bystanders reported seeing flames spread across the man’s back as he fled from the scene toward nearby hotels.

Federal Authorities Take Over Investigation

Local firefighters quickly responded to the scene, extinguishing the blaze and cutting power to the damaged charging stations. The North Charleston Police Department initially responded but has since handed the investigation over to federal authorities.

“No arrests have been made,” North Charleston Police spokesperson Harve Jacobs said Tuesday. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is now leading the investigation into the politically motivated arson attack.

Despite the substantial property damage and witness accounts, authorities have yet to identify or apprehend the suspect. Investigators are likely reviewing security footage from the outlet mall and surrounding businesses to track the perpetrator’s movements.

Part of Broader Anti-Tesla Trend

This incident appears to be part of a concerning trend of vandalism targeting Tesla, its CEO Elon Musk, and supporters of President Donald Trump. The timing coincides with growing public partnerships between Musk and Trump, which has angered many on the political left – and their violent, true selves are emerging once again.

President Donald Trump has since said that attacks like this will be treated as domestic terrorism, with those responsible for committing the attacks being charged accordingly.

Watch yourselves out there, the leftists are on a rampage.
