Nicholas Cage’s Son Arrested After Turning Himself In

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Weston Cage earlier this year on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon. Cage, Nicolas Cage’s son, surrendered to the authorities when the warrant was issued.

According to a Los Angeles Police Department representative, Weston was apprehended in the early hours of Wednesday, July 10.

The 33-year-old was freed at 9:50 a.m. on a $150,000 bond, two hours after being arrested at 7:57 a.m.

Weston’s warrant stems from a police report that was completed for battery during an incident at a get-together.

Cage’s son and his mother got into an altercation at Christina Fulton’s Los Angeles residence on April 28. There was a heated confrontation, according to the allegations.

The police allegedly said that Cage punched two people multiple times. The case was presented to the Los Angeles DA on May 10. Weston Cage was charged with multiple counts of assaulting persons with a deadly weapon

Cage’s kids include Weston, 33, who was given birth by Fulton. Kal-El, 18, was birthed by Alice Kim, Cage’s third wife. August, 22 months, is his daughter with Riko Shibata, his fifth wife.

Weston is open about his battles with substance abuse and has a record of arrests. Apparently, Weston was taken into custody in Los Angeles in 2017 after a hit-and-run while he was intoxicated.

In 2015, Cage’s’ son talked to the media about his struggles with addiction, saying he was just about digging his own grave.

He said having children of his own (four of them) helped him on his journey to recovery.

Weston also attributed having his father, Nicolas Cage, in his life has kept him alive.

Cage is famous for depicting a man whose life was coming apart due to struggles with substance abuse in the movie “Leaving Las Vegas.”
