Shocking Allegations Emerge

In a disturbing case that has rocked the community of Stillwater, Oklahoma, former dental assistant Cody Allen Stolfa stands accused of a series of heinous crimes against sedated patients. Stolfa allegedly sexually assaulted 16 individuals, including six minors, while they were under sedation at Central Oklahoma Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates in 2021.

The investigation into Stolfa’s activities began when a video surfaced on the dark web, catching the attention of law enforcement. This discovery led to Stolfa’s arrest on July 10, 2024, and the subsequent uncovering of multiple videos and photographs documenting sexual offenses against unconscious patients.

Victims Unaware Until Notified

One of the most chilling aspects of this case is that the victims were completely unaware of the assaults until contacted by the Stillwater Police Department.

Laura Thomas, a law enforcement official involved in the case, stated, “None of them knew this happened to them until they were contacted by SPD and made aware.”

The alleged assaults took place over a three-month period in 2021, targeting male patients aged 15-23. Stolfa’s employment at the clinic lasted from June to September of that year, ending due to poor job performance, unrelated to the crimes now coming to light.

Extensive Evidence Uncovered

As the investigation progressed, authorities made several disturbing discoveries. A folder labeled “naughty” on Stolfa’s device contained 115 videos of alleged assaults on 15 additional patients. Even more shocking, over 10,000 files of child sexual abuse material were found in his possession.

“It’s just really gross. He’s very brazen, scary guy,” Thomas said.

The investigation revealed that Stolfa allegedly shared these videos online and offered access to child sexual abuse material through messaging apps. Additionally, investigators uncovered evidence of Stolfa committing acts of animal abuse, further compounding the severity of the charges against him.

Legal Proceedings and Community Response

Stolfa now faces a litany of charges, including sexual battery, forcible sodomy, child exploitation, clandestine recording, sodomy of a victim under 16, and lewd acts to a child. He is currently being held without bond in the Payne County jail as the legal process unfolds.

The community of Stillwater has been left reeling from these revelations. The dental clinic where the alleged assaults took place claims to have been unaware of the incidents and is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation. This case has prompted a re-examination of protocols and safeguards in medical environments to prevent such egregious breaches of trust and patient safety.

As the legal proceedings continue, the focus remains on supporting the victims and ensuring justice is served. The case serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability of sedated patients and the critical importance of stringent oversight in medical settings.
