Trump’s Endorsement of Randy Fine
Former President Donald Trump has thrown his support behind Florida State Senator Randy Fine for a potential congressional run in Florida’s 6th Congressional District. The endorsement came after the current representative, Matt Waltz, was nominated as national security adviser in Trump’s administration.
Trump took to his Truth Social platform to express his support for Fine, describing him as an “America First Patriot.”
The former president stated, “I am hearing that America First Patriot Randy Fine is considering launching his Campaign for Congress in Florida’s 6th Congressional District! Should he decide to enter this Race, Randy Fine has my Complete and Total Endorsement. RUN, RANDY, RUN!”
One of the best parts about the Randy Fine endorsement is that @AnthonySabatini is not getting one from Trump for the THIRD consecutive election 🤣 https://t.co/G7N6KlUkNx pic.twitter.com/937Si4wdh9

Fine’s Political Background and Controversy
Randy Fine has served in the Florida House since 2016 and recently won the Florida Senate District 19 seat. He gained attention as the first prominent GOP state legislator to withdraw support from Governor Ron DeSantis, instead endorsing Trump in the GOP presidential primary.
“Your confidence is overwhelming and I will have news to share soon!” Fine responded to Trump’s endorsement.
However, Fine’s political career has been marked by controversy, particularly regarding his statements about Muslims and Palestinians. He is accused of having a history of making inflammatory comments that have drawn criticism from civil rights organizations, including the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). But given that CAIR is an extremist organization itself, it’s hard for any sane person to take those complaints seriously.
