Trump Says He ‘Understands’ What Biden’s Feeling After Hunter’s Conviction

Former President Donald Trump has given his sympathy to President Biden following the recent guilty conviction of Biden’s son Hunter Biden on felony gun charges. Hunter Biden’s conviction comes just a few weeks after the former President himself was found guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business documents in regards to allegedly paying adult film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 in 2016 to silence her claims of an affair between the two back in 2006. It seems as though Trump has more of an understanding of Biden following the two latest controversial convictions.

This week, President Biden’s son Hunter was found guilty on all three felony gun charges in which prosecutors claimed the President’s son lied about drug usage and addictions during a mandatory purchase form while purchasing a revolver handgun back in 2018. Fox News asked Trump about his feelings regarding the recent situation, in which Trump lent his sympathy to the Biden family. Trump stated that he believes Biden’s situation is a very, “serious thing” and that he understands the whole subject of the matter. Trump stated that he had even had members of his own family go through similar trials, which helped him relate. Trump also stated that the situation is tough for a father, as well as all family members.

Trump was also able to relate to Hunter Biden’s situation through the turmoil of his older brother who passed away in 1981 at the age of 41 due to alcohol addiction. It has been publicly known that Joe Biden’s son Hunter has struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for quite some time. The loss of Trump’s brother influenced him to stay sober ever since.

Following Hunter’s conviction, many have questioned whether or not President Biden will pardon his son for his crimes given his power as President. However, Biden stated that he would not pardon his son, and would continue to abide by the jury’s decision.
