Trump’s Lead in the Polls Just Keeps Growing

President Donald Trump’s lead in the polls keeps growing – and when you look at his lead on economic issues, it’s growing even more.

Vice President Kamala Harris won’t know what hit her on the night of November 5…

At a glance:

  • Trump holds a growing lead over Kamala Harris on economic issues in Pennsylvania and Arizona.
  • 58% of voters in Arizona and 55% in Pennsylvania favor Trump on the economy, showing increasing support.
  • Harris continues to lose ground, with her support on economic issues falling over the past two months.

Former President Donald Trump’s advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris on economic issues is increasing in the key battleground states of Pennsylvania and Arizona, according to recent polls conducted by The New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Siena College.

The economy remains the top concern for voters in these states, and Harris is struggling to gain traction. In Arizona, where 24% of voters identified the economy as the most important issue, Trump is favored by 58% of voters to handle economic matters, compared to just 39% for Harris. Despite inflation easing somewhat in 2024, support for Harris on economic issues has declined slightly over the past few months.

In Pennsylvania, a similar trend is emerging. Trump’s support on economic issues has grown from 52% in August to 55% in the most recent poll, while Harris’ numbers have dropped from 46% to 42% over the same period. This increasing gap indicates that economic concerns will likely be pivotal in the upcoming election, with voters favoring Trump’s approach over Harris’.

The poll results suggest that despite Democrat hopes of a shift in focus away from the economy, voter dissatisfaction with Biden-Harris policies remains strong in these critical states, boosting Trump’s standing as the election approaches.

Every poll you look at is bad for Harris.
