Things in America are troublesome. The social, political and fiscal decline of the United States continues to become more apparent with each passing day. Rampant inflation has crushed the average American and wages have remained stagnant for many decades. This problem has been exacerbated in recent years and the cost of living has skyrocketed. It used to be a normal statement to say that food bought at the grocery store was done so at a much cheaper price than when going out to eat. This reality is no longer true, as groceries have become high in costs and even “cheap” take out options like fast food has become a luxury. Since 2014, fast food prices are up by 47%. Most Americans now view fast food as a “luxury” with 78% of people responding in a recent report by USA today that this is the case.

The economy is not the only problem facing Americans. Millions of illegal migrants have entered the country in the last five years. A recent report by the New York Post alleges that the American federal migrant backlog will reach 8 million individuals in the fall of 2024, a 167% increase in just five years. The incumbent president Joe Biden has come under criticism and scrutiny from members of the media and from rival politicians for his handling of the crisis at the southern border. Many have alleged that he was been unable to address the issue effectively and millions of migrants are estimated to have entered the country over the last four years of his presidency, overwhelming many major urban areas across the country like New York, San Francisco, Denver, Philadelphia, and others.

Most Americans have realized the serious nature of this problem. A recent report showed that 60%, a clear majority of American voters, support the immediate and widespread removal (deportation) of illegal migrants. The report surfaced on CBS’s program titled “Face the Nation”.
